Osstem Implant, Diamond Sponsor of EAO 2024, Unveils Patient-Centered Innovation

Osstem Implant will participate as a Diamond Sponsor at the 2024 EAO, Europe’s largest implant conference, co-hosted by IAO, SIdP, and EAO. The Osstem Implant exhibition booth will be situated in the exhibition hall on Level 0 of the ‘MiCo Congress Centre,’ the event’s venue, with hands-on programs and forums scheduled for Level 2.

On October 24, the opening day of the conference, Osstem Implant will again support the “My First Implant” program, organized by the EAO Junior Committee, in its capacity as a Diamond Sponsor. This program combines theoretical lectures with hands-on training and is expected to attract about 60 young dentists.

The hands-on sessions will be conducted in 20-minute intervals, accommodating groups of 10 participants, and will occur six times throughout the day. Greek dentist Marianzela Alexopoulou, an advisor to the EAO Junior Committee, will impart her expertise on utilizing Osstem Implant’s ‘122 Taper Kit’. Unlike other products that necessitate multiple drillings with different nozzles depending on bone density, the ‘122 Taper Kit’ allows for implant placement with a single drilling in ‘soft bone’, a single drilling in ‘normal bone’, and two drillings in ‘hard bone.’ This technique is unique to Osstem Implant among global dental companies.

The “Industry Forum,” scheduled for October 25 in ‘Room Garda,’ which seats 350 attendees, will be chaired by Professor Marco Esposito from Italy. Professor Darko Bozic from Croatia, Dr. Leonardo Muzzi, and Dr. Fulvio Gatti, both from Italy will join as speakers and address the methods to enhance bone fusion.

Lee Jin-moo, Executive Director and Head of Osstem Implant Europe, said, “Providing patients with comfortable and aesthetically pleasing treatment outcomes is the primary objective of the modern implantology community. At the Industry Forum, Osstem Implant, alongside esteemed lecturers with extensive clinical experience, will confidently showcase its latest patient-centered technologies, including the OneGuide system and the next-generation surface technology ‘SOI,’ both designed to enhance osseointegration, facilitate rapid recovery, and ensure a healthy smile.”

On the final day of the event, October 26, Professor Marco Tallarico from Italy will deliver an ‘Industry Hands-on’ lecture in the ‘Amber 6’ lecture hall on the 2nd floor. He will discuss the treatment and prosthesis workflow for addressing complex clinical cases, such as aesthetic treatments and full arch restorations, with high precision. Professor Tallarico said, “By utilizing Osstem Implant’s ‘OneGuide’ template, which allows for the production of prosthetics without a metal sleeve using a 3D printer, chairside time can be significantly reduced. This approach can also produce excellent results, even in cases involving narrow spaces or where superior aesthetics are required, such as in the anterior region.”

Throughout the three-day event, Osstem Implant will host a ‘Booth and Program Stamp Tour’ and a ‘Treasure Hunt’ in collaboration with other EAO sponsor companies.

Participants in the paid hands-on programs, ‘My First Implant’ and ‘Industry Hands-on,’ will receive premium functional toothpaste, ‘Vussen,’ an Osstem mug, and a surgical bandana. Moreover, visitors presenting their booth visit stamp will receive a doll of ‘Pyorangyi,’ the mascot of Osstem Implant.

Attendees of the ‘Industry Forum,’ which is complimentary, will receive Vussen toothpaste and a ‘Pyorangyi’ stress ball, with those presenting a booth visit stamp also receiving an Osstem mug. Furthermore, participants who visit the product zone and engage in consultations multiple times will be rewarded with a set including Vussen toothpaste, an Osstem mug, and a Vussen toothbrush, depending on the total number of visits.

An Osstem Implant official stated, “Osstem Implant, which has participated in EAO annually since 2004, was elevated to the status of Diamond Sponsor last year. As a main sponsor, we have organized an enriching and comprehensive on-site lecture series this year. In addition to the Implant, OneGuide, and GBR exhibition zones, we have arranged a digital exhibition area showcasing our CBCT ‘T2,’ making its debut at the EAO since our initial participation. We will also generously offer commemorative gifts and complimentary catering services, including premium coffee drinks, to express our gratitude to all who visit our booth.”
