‘SOI’ Surface Technology Achieves a 35% Reduction in Healing Time

Osstem Implant has revealed its strategy to replace the current market status quo, which revolves around Sand-blasted and Acid-etched surface technologies, with its 4th-generation surface technology, SOI (Super Osseointegration). SOI is a breakthrough technology that reduces the initial bone fusion period by more than 35% compared to Osstem Implant’s SA surface technology. At AEEDC, Osstem Implant will showcase the ‘TS SOI’ implant, which exhibits 130 times the protein attachment strength of existing implants and a strong blood clot formation ability.

Area-Specific Custom Kits Boasting Implant Accuracy and Outstanding Prognosis

A Hands-on program where participants can directly use different kits is available on-site. An Osstem Implant representative noted, “Clinicians are most concerned with finding tools that fit their hands and meet the specific characteristics and objectives of the surgical area.” He went on to explain why the Hands-on program has been strengthened this year. “Our surgical kits are efficiently designed to avoid redundant purchases or tools that aren’t frequently used, which ultimately boosts the accuracy and success rates of procedures,” he emphasized.”

The four kits that make up Osstem Implant’s ‘OneGuide System’ for digital surgical guides are worth highlighting. The ‘OneCAS KIT,’ designed to prevent maxillary sinus perforation, the ‘OneMS KIT,’ which is effective in narrow bone widths like the mandibular anterior region, the ‘One485 KIT,’ which minimizes damage to the inferior alveolar nerve, and the ‘OneGuide KIT,’ which is most widely used for implant placements with diameters from 3.5mm to 5mm, are available for hands-on trials.

Also on display are the world’s exclusive ‘122 Taper KIT,’ which enables implant placement with only two drillings, and the ‘LAS KIT,’ which reduces the risk of membrane perforation, both available for Hands-on experience. Osstem Implant will present the ‘ESSET KIT,’ which has been garnering significant interest in the Middle Eastern dental industry. The ‘ESSET KIT’ aids in procedures even with insufficient horizontal bone volume, without requiring bone grafting. Moreover, Osstem Implant will unveil the highly anticipated ‘IM-Cure KIT’ for the first time in the Middle East. The ‘IM-Cure KIT’ minimizes implant surface damage and eliminates peri-implantitis, combining multiple functions into a single kit, compatible with surgery, prosthetics, and conservative treatments.

Incorporating the ‘Digital Workflow’ process into the space design and layout flow

Osstem Implant has compressed the ‘Digital Workflow’ process to fit their AEEDC booth layout, advising visitors to follow the main pathway for optimal viewing.

The process starts with the ‘K3’ and ‘K5’ unit chairs, which are used for all dental procedures, followed by equipment for diagnosis and treatment planning such as the CBCT ‘T2’, oral scanners ‘Medit i700’ and ‘Medit i900’, and the portable X-ray ‘N1’, all featured together in one area. For clinicians with limited digital experience or those unsure how to use equipment like oral scanners, Osstem Implant’s knowledgeable managers will be available to assist with detailed guidance throughout the event.

Behind the zones showcasing TS SOI implants, bone graft materials, and the hands-on space, Osstem Implant features products from its sister brands, including ‘Hiossen’ and ‘Toplan’ implants, and orthodontic supplies like brackets and tubes from ‘Osstem Ortho.’ This provides a broad range of options to satisfy diverse customer demands. Furthermore, Osstem Implant supports visitors by offering photo-taking and printing services to ensure a memorable experience at the exhibition.

Since beginning operations in 2020, Osstem Implant has been expanding its reach with 60 dealer partners across 26 countries. In November of last year, Osstem Implant’s Middle East branch began direct sales in Dubai, marking a significant milestone. Jang Dae-hee, the Middle East branch director, commented, “We are the first dental manufacturer in the UAE to provide direct product supplies to dental clinics. We look forward to offering a greater variety of products and delivering specialized education while better addressing customer demands. ■
